How lucky we are to have the brilliant Dr Savani - so professional, expert, and caring. Thank you for your clarity, for being able to communicate everything so succinctly, and for your patience in navigating IT nightmares to still give fantastic care.
Registered patient name is Abdul Barick. Poor experience today. I need repeat script for my diabetes drugs. I usually do this on Airmid app on my phone a week before I am about run out. The app has blocked me from doing this, as I need a medication review. I called this morning at 8 am - waited 30 mins. Previously, I could book appointments on the app. Booked appointment with clinical pharmacist for medication review. I have been unable to book a diabetes review with my usual GP - DR Choudhury for sometime as well. Told I need to request drugs via patches and it would be processed within 48 hours, even though I am about to run out of drugs. I asked the receptionist to put me on the on call GP list, so I can speak to Dr today, to get script issued ASAP, as the weekend is coming up. I was told the on call GP would not deal with medication request, even though I am about to run out. I should still be able to request medication, while waiting to book in for review! Shall I stop taking my drugs for a chronic conditions because the computer says no? Not happy about above process, I would appreciate if someone could contact me to discuss further. 1800 As expected my request for repeat medication was not processed, so now I have run out of medication for diabetes, even though I said this to the receptionist. 2nd October Practice manager contacted me. Prescription sent to pharmacy. Medications requests are processed same day, if patient is about to run out. Receptionist I spoke to was misinformed apparently. Problem sorted. 3rd June new review. I can't add a new review about a recent experience. So, just adding to previous review. I was booked a medication review recently. This was cancelled as pharmacist was sick. I was rebooked for a telephone Saturday appointment with a pharmacist working at the 'hub'. Never received a call or text message. I called on Monday. The pharmacist apparently called... Rebooked again for 7pm. Again did not receive a text message reminder. Then I received 3 calls between. 730-8pm, when I was busy. Specifically booked an appointment at 7pm! Not sure why this is so difficult to get right!
This surgery is absolutely awful....I don't know what Mickey Mouse degrees in medicine they have but should not be allowed to practice... they are a shame to the profession and should struck of the list for medical help.
A really fantastic doctors surgery, I feel very lucky that they are my local healthcare provider. I couldn’t be happier with the treatment I’ve received from this practice.
Very racist and rude Doctors and staff members! Despite being unwell after suffering life chamlnging injuries as a result of a random unprovoked murder attempt, they refused to see me and refused to refer me to specialist. Cavendish Health Centre did not even gave me any appointents! I am at risk of having a stroke, the A&E told me the Gp must send me to a specialist , but Cavendish Health Center as Gp refused to do what the A&E requested, incresing my risks of suffering stroke and allowing my health to deteriorate further. I am pretty sure the NHS guidelines do not mention that the patients have to die to be refered to specialist! No excuse! I will sue you and your doctors, you gave me no choice! What a disgrace! I recorded the conversations I had with the Gp's and will get them to the media! From a legal professional, it is recommended that this Gp practice is strongly avoided!
Really exceptional service. From the Admin, Nurses, GPs, everyone I have been in contact here were great!
I have never had a pleasant experience with the reception at this NHS practice until today. In fact, in the past I had walked out in tears because of how a staff member spoke to me. Today, my blood test appt was not reflecting correctly on their system so I had to wait for 45 minutes to get this sorted, however, Steph was an absolutely delightful lady to interact with. She made this wait feel completely irrelevant by the time I left as she went out of her way to sort something out for me and plan in additional appointments in the process. She even flagged down a very kind doctor so I could ask some on the spot questions. Both were incredibly friendly. Put me in a good mood for today. Thanks, Steph!
I’ve lived in the area 20+ years, during which time I was registered at 3 practices - this is by far the best. The booking system is efficient, the receptionist helpful, the GPs attentive and thoughtful. I’m sure that sometimes things aren’t always great, but when it comes to NHS this is probably as close to best practice as it gets.
My husband and I have both been registered with this clinic for years and luckily have not had to use it much. My husband Spaso, who is struggling with a nose issue, is now attempting to use their services and he has been repeatedly pushed around and told different information by different people. He is insured privately and got a referral from his private GP to see an ENT specialist, but his insurance company required Cavendish as his NHS GP to release a form saying that this is not a pre-existing condition which it is not. He paid the charge GBP50 to Cavendish to get this form released so we even PAID for this service and multiple nurses told him this will be done within a day. A week has gone by and we are now being told this can take up to 28 days. What?!?! He was never told this information, otherwise he never would have paid the GBP50 to wait a month. His nose condition is serious and he needs to see his specialist ASAP, but this center is now it seems deliberately slowing down a process that actually is saving THEM time and resources my husband is trying to use his private insurance rather than NHS resources. Now my husband is still unwell, unable to act on his referral because of some paperwork/bureaucracy which this center lied about. The 28 days only came up after multiple people assured him the form can be released within 24 hours, and now suddenly when we follow up it's 28 days. Now my husband will need to go to the emergency room as a result of these people's lies and incompetence.
I truly believe this is one of the best GP practices in central London. I have moved around a lot within the city and this is by far the most proactive clinic and they always offer appointments ! The doctors are extremely kind and make the extra effort to make you feel better !
