Good old fashioned style chippy with sit in area. clean, good value for money and popular with those in the know. Staff could be a bit friendlier but with a steady stream of traffic it's a good place to grab a bite to eat away from the chains and healthy eating places.

Best chips in Manchester! Always just crisp enough, and never tasting of old oil, which most Manc chippies fall foul of.

Fish and chips for £5.10. The fish wasn't flaky, which was weird for cod/haddock (not sure which it was). The batter was pretty good and the chips were good too. The fish wasn't great, but it may have just been an bad one.
