Pleasant atmosphere, cheerful and helpful staff. Food is clean and well-presented. You just need to read the menu carefully and ask your helper about the content/composition (my daughter requested a burger 🍔, and it arrived without the bun 😊, just two pieces of burger and potato. We had to pay extra for pita bread (no bun around).
Prices are higher than surrounding and similar-standard restaurants.
One staff member was extra friendly and chatty.

We have been visiting Cafe Istanbul since the children were 4 and 6 years old. They are now 15 and 17. In all those years we would rate the restaurant 5 star as the food ,service and warm welcome as never been anything less.

Pleasant Turkish restaurant just off Deansgate. The food's nice and reasonably priced for the area, service is fast when it isn't crowded, and they'll happily do you a couple of starters as a light meal if you're in a rush for lunch or to get a quick bite before going to the theatre. The vegetarian of the group liked the vegetarian options. Five stars for what it is - a mid-range restaurant that aspires only to provide an enjoyable eating experience in comfortable surroundings.
