Excellent city centre independent cafe. Seriously good coffee and an imaginative, short menu offering a different take on the usual breakfast, salads, sandwiches and panini. Consistently good and excellent service. A good array of cakes as well and, in my view, good value considering it's prime location. Knocks the spots off the chain offers. Try It- you won't regret it.

Excellent tea, coffee and cakes as photogenic as they are delicious. Big floor to ceiling windows with a central view of the City Art Gallery and a couple of big leather sofas from which to watch the world go by. Staff are friendly and laid back. Can't comment on any food other than the cakes but highly recommended.

Most importantly for me: great coffee. Always an interesting, delightful and delicious selection of cakes - a little bit different and special. I haven't eaten the breakfasts, but they always look and smell good and seem popular.

Nice coffee and really nice and easy light lunches. Nothing too fancy but the place is pretty much everything you need to set your day off in the right direction.
