Has all the equipment you could ask for. Plenty or free weights and benches. Let down by the messy changing rooms and broken Toilets. Fond memories here, smashed a lot of PB's made some huge gains. Good atmosphere within the gym, good pt's but the music sucks.

Gym decent but changing rooms can get busy and the have been to many times when it's difficult to find a shower that works and provides hit water. At least they've seemed to have stopped the practice (for now) of personal trainers approaching you whilst your using equipment to try and sell you one to ones. In the past, they have approached me when I've been running on a treadmill with earphones in and just stood in front of me wanting a conversation.

I like the ambiance of the gym. It is very convenient just using a fingerprint to access through the gym. The location is very close by to Deansgate-Castlefield tram stop.

Great facilities. Unfortunately cafe closed and drinks machine doesn't work. This happens all the time. Management, sort it out. I won't be coming back next year.

Well. As far as it concerns the PT/Equipment/General Atmosphere is a 5 stars to me. But the following motivation worth a 1 star to me.
Especially during peak time or after peak time:
- Machines left Loaded up (Leg Press with 6/8/10 Plates each side Left Loaded, Same is for Squat Rack and other Loadable Machine) Barbell, Dumbell, and plates left over the floor around the gym (quite dangerous in my opinion);
- Used Paper Tissues, Empty bottles and cans left over the floor both inside the gym and changing rooms(while there are litter bin very close)
- No Towels used on benches (not sure but should be on the Gyms rule).
Well, before closing each day I have seen the Gym staff break their back (praiseworthy their effort) putting everything in order. I think that would be easier to teach people to put weight back after using because it is safer and more respectful for other gym members.
Remember that Bodybuilders like Lee Priest, Tom Platz and dear departed Mike Mentzer and brother are and were used to always put back their weights. If Famous bodybuilders do that, why not follow their example?
