It ok for a midweek lazy dinner, fairly average food, sometimes its great, sometimes its bad but usually its just alright, keep going back so can't be that bad. The specials are huge, make sure your hungry as I wasn't expecting so much food! Worth a stop if your local and hungry. Staff are always friendly and although always seems to be understaffed they are always trying their best to please everyone.
Went with my partner,the food was excellent, brilliant prices and very fast service. The waiting staff couldn't do enough for us was friendly and polite and was very smartly dressed. The only little downfall was the assistant manager who was being rude and unfriendly barking orders to the rest of the staff but apart from then we had a lovely meal and a good time.
My wife and I decided to lunch here today. My wife had the beef lasagne with baked potato and I had baked potato with cheese and coleslaw. Great, pleasant service and the food was great
Excellent Steaks! Really meat option at the Brinkley Lodge. The staff we're friendly and helped with our food selection. My rump steak was cooked to perfection, with really good portions on the sides. Great atmosphere inside or at the outside seating.
Would definitely recommend this place. The food was excellent although staff had issues with doing cocktails was unaware of new cocktails added to menu. Apart from that very satisfied.
I can't fault my experience at Brinsley Lodge, I had a steak and it was cooked to my liking. One thing I really liked was that you had a choice of potato options- I didn't feel like I was being particularly awkward ordering potatoes rather than chips with my steak. The atmosphere was nice as were the staff. It was reasonably priced, I'd say there's something for everyone's budget and taste on the menu. I'd definitely go again. Kid-friendliness: Definitely family friendly, there were young children dining when I visited. Parking: Good number of parking spaces, more around the back of the Lodge.
Pre booked a table for 8, on arrival couldn't find the booking but quickly rearranged some tables to accommodate the party. Food was good but 2 guests had a little longer to wait, forgot to bring a steak knife for 1 meal, servers very pleasant and apologetic, it appeared to be a busy time and not many staff, on the whole they did their best and it was an enjoyable meal, would go again. Kid-friendliness: It's a Family dining restaurant, highchairs available.
Credit where credit is due. Went a couple of years ago and it wasn't great. But since then they've really picked up their game. Good food, nice prices, good service and a huge menu. Definitely worth going either to call in for something like a fresh ham cob and chips for about £3.60 for lunch Better than a cold sandwich and bag of Crisps from tesco or something or to have a full evening meal with friends. It's now one of my frequent places to eat Keep up on the good work
Went with my family and took about 20 minutes for them to even ask for our order and it wasn't even busy. Once the food finally arrived, they got 4 of our orders wrong and when told about it they told us what we ordered. The steak was cold and flavourless and chips were hardly edible. Were very rude to my poor old grandma who just wanted to eat her steak and were very cheeky to her. Wouldn't recommend. Go to the mallard instead.
Great food, friendly staff and affordable prices. Been here a few times and never disappointed with the foodFood: 5/5
