I read these reviews, and thought all estate agents we're just as bad, but these guys are by far the worst. If you're a tenant AVOID! In 18 months the apartment we rented suffered 4 floods, and the apartment was left damaged for 6 months. Whilst we appreciate that it was down to building management to fix the issues, Bright was no help in chasing them to fix the apartment, the repairs were only done the week before the tenancy was to end. During these 6 months, it was only after arguing alot and trying to get out of the contract we managed to get the rent reduced. However, after being told by the contractors we could claim back electricity for various industrial driers, Bright failed to confirm this and what information we needed to provide for many months and we never received any refund. This is just a snapshot into the disaster which this tenancy was.
Bright estate agents were really knowledgeable throughout my sale and really helped guide me through the process and provided support throughout, would recommend
Had Patrick help me through renting my first property, and he went above and beyond to give me a swift process so I could move in before Xmas. Any problems found with the flat prior to moving in Patrick worked well to correct and ensure every step of the process was smooth and clearly discussed on the phone. For any anxiousness I had for my first rental experience, Patrick definitely helped put aside with his great customer service.
I moved in about a month ago, flat is in decent shape and so far Bright's staff have been friendly and helpful, especially since they did not get much time before my move in date. Though I did find it odd that they were chasing me for this review even before they had confirmed the date for an agreed maintenance fix replacing the oven hood - which I eventually had to chase up.
Not recommended at all Please do not deal with this agent. Even they do not deserve one star The worst estate agent , I have ever dealt with. I have had issues with them from the beginning of my tenancy agreement till the date of moving out. To start with, they changed the day of moving in which was advertised on their website. So, I had to book a hotel for one day . When I asked them why you changed the date? They responded rudely and unprofessional that the flat is not ready. During my stay only one year, I only called them for a one repair in the toilet which took them a month and half to solve it imagine if I had more repairs in the flat !!! At the end of my tenancy, my deposit was protected by DPS. So, I contacted bright estate agent multiple times via email, whatsApp, phone calls to ask them to accept my deposit repayment request. But they kept ignoring me. I have chased them to accept the request for about 3 months from End of March till End of June. Then, I had to make a statutory declaration to claim my deposit which again costed me time and money. After statutory declaration, they replied after 3.5 months of moving outand claimed that the flat needed clean which not true at all unfortunately i did not take any photo of the flat before I leave ,and no check out arrangement has been done between myself and the agent .All these unnecessary stress , I had to go with this agent. They even rented the flat after me but they did not bother to accept my request which only will take 1 minute to do it. Avoid
Would definitely recommend Patrick Brown at Bright Estate Agents to source high quality tenants for your rental property. Patrick provided us with professional, honest and reliable service throughout all our dealings with him and went the extra mile to secure the right tenants for us and our properties! 10/10!!
