Great place for coffee and breakfast. Does get very busy on a weekend. Expect a queue. Even on some week days. Very popular place.

Some lovely food, some less so. Lovely chunky chips but burger had the texture of frozen mass produced burgers and apple juice was tasteless "from concentrate" type. Their steak sandwich (popular with other tables) looked very good.

Expensive, and far too noisy if even only half full. Ungenerous portions and too few toilets*. Why someone rated it 'cosy' is beyond me - the total lack of soft furnishings is part of what gives the place the acoustics and general feel of a works canteen. Mysteriously popular (leading to waits at times) but I'd recommend various nearby cafés, pubs and the garden centre over this. One to miss. *This was a problem before the extension. The fact that they then extended and didn't use the opportunity to improve this might point to where priorities lie.

In case you don't know, this is attached to a farm shop so all the food is absolutely fresh as can be. It's not expensive and the coffee is gorgeous.
