Excellent food. The burger was excellent and you could taste they had used quality ingredients. The flat bread was equally delicious. Also, as always, the ice cream from the parlour was first rate.
Me and my partner visited here for lunch on our way home to Cambridge from Manchester and it was absolutely lovely! The service was fantastic and the food was gorgeous. I would highly recommend for those looking to enjoy a wholesome meal with great service!
Love coming here, we visit frequently. Food is always good and it’s good value for money. Only thing is service can be an occasional let down. it’s very dependant on which server you get. Mostly the ladies are all lovely and very welcoming, however, from one server in particular it’s a very cold and unfriendly reception.
Nice friendly buzz about the place, obviously popular by the number of folk around dining in 8n and just calling in to the ice cream parlour. Compared with other similar places around Yummy may be the best value.
The ice cream is amazing. The flavours are always changing so there’s always something new go try. Lovely staff and incredible views. Lots of places to sit outside, free car parking, dog friendly and great facilities.
Booked a table for 4 for the Thai Street food experience and was blown away from start to finish. Ample parking then as we entered the restaurant there was a roaring outside fire pit which looked amazing and gave off good Heat. We entered into a modern very well laid out restaurant plenty of room between tables which were presented to a high standard. We were welcomed by a very smiley friendly young lady who showed us to our table and explained in detail all about the food and service. She gave us ample time to choose our food and after we ordered and the food came out which was exceptional, cooked and presented perfectly. Service was A1 , nothing too much trouble and always came with a smile and well mannered staff. All four of our party were blown away by the amazing evening. Recommend highly and certainly will visit again
This was our first visit to Yummy and we weren't disappointed. A classy looking restaurant in amazing surroundings. Friendly staff and the food is amazing. Highly recommended!
Nice creamy but unimaginative ice-cream, service at the ice cream counter very good. Service in the restaurant could be a bit more friendly, but it's efficient in a mildly brusque way. Food is good quality, if not remarkable, decor is bland and discouraging. Prices are en par for farmhouse style eateries like this. The place is SO close to being perfect that it's frustrating as a customer to see it just miss the mark. If the decor could be softened a little and given a very slight personal touch... If the ice cream parlor followed the one in the Peak District, by offering some more unusual flavours and changing it daily or weekly... if the staff had the time to be a little more relaxed and smiley... If the food had a few more interesting items dotted among the offerings... All that would give it 4 stars. If they completely wowed, it would get 5. The difference is less than the tips of my fingers.
A lovely modern converted barn building with some great interior design giving it the farmyard feel. Very friendly staff, I decided to have the house H &H breakfast, with of course a pot of Yorkshire Tea and was not disappointed. 2 great rashers of local cured bacon, 2 hash browns, toasted sourdough bread, 1 huge sausage, scrambled eggs, 2 large mushrooms, black pudding, grilled tomato. I would strongly recommend this restaurant, extensive menu throughout the day, great selection of drinks too. Great seating options and the sun was shining.
Great breakfast as always had the waffles this morning and would definitely recommend Kid-friendliness: Staff were super friendly with my little one highchairs are a little big if you only have a small baby Parking: Always loads of parking
