I use this cafe several times each week. Although there is a lack of consistency (I can only assume this is due to a lack of training for staff) and on occasions they could do with an extra member of staff to cover busy periods. However, the staff have always been friendly, polite and have good humour! Great Customer Service is the key here! I will continue giving this cafe my custom!

So dissapointed ! All I wanted it was a latte but instead I got full cup of super strong coffee and hardly any milk. It was disgusting . I had to bin the drink after 1 sip! There was this older lady possibly new. For sure needs a training!

Had ten minutes to spare before our train arrived (platform 15b to Hull) and decided to get a drink. There was only one member of staff serving and the queue was ridiculously long and slow moving. While we where there 5 people walked away because they had ran out of time, which is exactly what happened to us. It's a weekend in December which everyone knows will be busy, so why not have the staff on to cope with a high volume of customers? Silly, but to be expected.

I tried to buy a coffee here this morning (platform 12c, 8:10 am, 10.10.17) When trying to pay I was told by a female staff that my £10 note was fake and she was going to keep it! She then compared it with a new £10 note and even though I was surprised I asked for it back and wanted to buy a coffee with a different note. Nevertheless she asked another customer if they had an old £10 note to compare, he didn't. Then her colleague had a look under the uv machine and also said he couldn't see a number highlighted, I said I could see it and all I want is to get my note back so I can take it to my bank. She was very accusative and tried to humiliate me. Even if I had a fake note it wouldn't mean I'm a money laundry person? What a bizarre attitude? Nevertheless later today I took the note to my bank and they said there was NOTHING WRONG with my money! What a bizarre person. Because she was so accusative I've not bought a coffee and I left feeling embarrassed and upset when really this was a complete nonsense. I'm not sure why she targeted me and what was it about really. Very poor people skills and lack of competence! I take the train from this platform regularly but won't be using the cafe sadly!
