Boasting a much more inviting layout since moving their bar downstairs this coffee shop makes the independent coffee guild for the north as a place of interest. Not only a perfect place to stop in if you are a coffee fan but also if you are an avid cycle fan. Also offering bike repairs, advice and equipment this little corner shop is combining two separate interests well. Allows dogs and also has bike racks outside. Perfect if you are looking for somewhere warm after a bike ride and even better if you want to find a regular group to ride with as they also host a weekly Monday night ride! The coffee is speciality and well made by staff members who are friendly and passionate. A wonderful place to catch your breath.

Had a classic millennial lunch of avocado on toast with an espresso and was thoroughly impressed. Commute are nailing the Origin coffee in their hoppers with fantastic bright espresso and delicious milk drinks; the baristas are clearly confident and interested in their craft just from seeing their manner behind the bar. It was great to see them serving some of Origin Coffee's more interesting coffees rather than just the standard espresso blend many Origin cafés serve. The barista on shift was helpful when I asked for a recommendation of which coffee to choose for espresso. Despite their clear dedication to coffee, the place still felt totally approachable and accessible to anyone just wanting some food and drink without delving too far into the specialty coffee rabbithole. The menu is clear and very well priced, and the decor is modern but comfy enough for a short stay - no deep leather sofas here but the space is light and airy with their cool cycle theme (the shop is half coffee, half cycle gear). Coffee came quickly and food shortly after. The service was polite and friendly.

Visiting England from Australia and have been missing good coffee, got our fix here, best coffee we could find in England!!
