2 visits to here, Friday night & Sunday lunch. Both visits we had food and drink, burgers, lasagna & a spicy chicken dish as well as Sunday lunch. All dishes were lovely. Super friendly staff, lovely food. Really enjoyable visit. We're not from around here, but we're made to feel very welcome. There's a nice beer garden but was too cold to use when we visited.Service: 5/5
We visited today as a family of 4 for the first time and can honestly say it was one of the best carvery meals we have ever had. The food was absoloutly gorgeous, fresh, hot and so tasty with a great selection. The gentleman that welcomed us sorry didn't get your name was so welcoming and helpful. My husband is currently using crutches so he carried his plate for him and plated his meal whilst my husband chose what he wanted from the carvery and brought it to our table for him. We really appreciated your help. Will definitely be back in the future. Thanks so much for a lovely New year's day meal.
Great pub, a fantastic welcome from everyone. Real good service, staff couldn't do enough for you. Great portions and very reasonable prices. Will definitely go again
What an absolute gem of a pub. Such a warm welcome and amazing food. Dogs were made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Made to feel like we were friends
Sally is an absolute star. She made my son and our day fantastic. You have a gem in Sally....what a lovely person, service fab and food brilliant. Best pub by far.

My Wife and I went for a Sunday lunch. We had the vegetarian option and were not disappointed. You are supposed to book ahead as they do dinner in sittings make sure you do!, but they managed to squeeze us in! The food was amazing! especially the sides like the creamy leak and the potato dauphinoise! The staff were really welcoming too, had a good chat with both the host and the chef. I could tell the chef was really passionate about his food. I can't wait to go again!
Have had lots of meals here but all have been exceptional. Just been to a suprise 50th meal for my best friend. The stuff were amazing, so friendly and lovely, couldn't do enough made us feel so welcome. The food was as always amazing. All homemade delicious always great. Thank you so much xx
