Attended a lunchtime concert and enjoyed it very much. Not my first time here. There is always lots on offer to choose from such as talks, concerts, courses etc. Great venue
An old fashioned community based public reference library and adult education institute. Really friendly and inviting staff, real mix of people using the place. Really nice to just sit, read and relax in the heart of the busy square mile.
Beautiful study area, quiet and spacious. It also has good selection of newspapers and magazines. Lots of courses and events in the evening. Staff are also helpful. However, opening hours are quite limited and wifi is slow.
I almost feel reluctant to leave a review for this spot because it's my favourite little secret. BUT I also love to give credit where credit's due. It's blissfully quiet and smells musky like a proper library. Highly recommend.
I havnt attended any of the courses here but the selection seems very good, diverse and inclusive. Great and space and atmospheric library. Prices seem alright.
A wonderful building
Reception staff are always polite and friendly
