Excellent, honest, helpful! My derailleur had became misshapen after my chain got stuck on it and consequently my crankarm rubbed against it every time I pedalled. I initially popped into a different neighbouring bike shop because it happened to be the first one I walked into and they quoted me at least £10-15 for labour costs, possibly another £26 on top of this if it turned out I needed a new derailleur. They also were apparently too busy so I needed to come back in 3-4 days. I cycle to work daily so would have been useful to have it fixed sooner so thought I'd try my luck in the next shop which happened to be Bike Science. They were immediately helpful, took my bike for a test ride to see what the problem was, and fixed it for free! They wouldn't accept my offer to pay anything. They also gave me a couple useful general cycling tips. Brilliant experience overall and I will know where to go back in future for honest, timely and effective service! Thank you.
They are thorough and explain the process clearly - it is quite technical but I left feeling I had understood what changes had been made and why. My bike feels totally different with only small adjustments. The fit is tailored to your style of riding and based on your physical fitness/strength there are some mobility tests etc in the fit I went for to ensure I wasn't positioned too aggressively etc for the sort of riding I do... I would gladly reccommend Bike Science to anyone looking to ensure their bike fits as it should!
Summary: After 3 months of lies, disorganisation and actual damage to my bike, I've gone elsewhere. I left my mountain bike with them to fix a spoke, brakes, a derailleur and a hanger. To make it easier for them, I bought the spare hanger and derailleur and handed them in with the bike. These tasks should have only take a couple of weeks, however, they kept on delaying until the bike was with them for around 3 months - in that time they lied to me about fixing a spoke, failed to fix any of the issues I raised, and then they broke my right fluid reservoir and didn't refund me. They had no clue what was going on; every week or so they'd phone me and ask what I wanted doing. Every week I'd re-explain despite the fact that I originally wrote them a list of tasks which must have been lost, burned or eaten by a dog. They promised to send me e-mails with suggestions for new brakes/indicating their progress - none ever arrived. Awful and dangerous 'service'. Don't risk it.
Have used this shop a few times for services and accessories. Had a tubeless conversion done and the seal split after a few months - fair enough, it happens. Tried to put a tube in but couldn't do it so took it back in. The guy who served me was rude from the start. Asked me a question then interrupted me mid way through to take a phone call. When I asked for help getting the tube in his response was 'I'm sure you know how to replace an inner tube'. Reluctantly he had a half hearted attempt, told me the tyre was tight and I'd have to do it myself. Took it Evans Cycles and they sorted it in about 30 seconds without charge.
I’ve been a customer of this place for several years now and always had great advice from Andy and his team. I’ve had some bikes, wheels, accessories and clothing from them and they’ve been great at advising where best to spend the money. Highly recommended.
Fantastic service from the hugely knowledgeable and passionate Andy and the team. Full bespoke bike build - unbelievable experience; and another winter bike purchased as well. Don't look anywhere else.

I tried to place an order through the phone for my business the other day, for x2 Parlee TTIR triathlon bikes and when I introduced myself the man on the end of the phone very rudely told me he didn't have time to talk to me and that's he's not interested in what I had to say, called back again and the man told me he was with a client, to leave him alone and hung up on me! Terrible service.
Excellent! I went for a bike fitting yesterday and was really impressed by the attention to detail, friendly insightful service and quality of advice. Highly recommended.
Sent an email to query stock and received a prompt reply from Andy, as well as in addition to other follow on emails I sent. Item was a good price and sent promptly, very happy customer.
