Perfect setting, very peaceful. Cosy lounge bar with open fire. Enjoyed a delicious dinner in the lounge bar, quiet and comfortable. Bedroom was basic but had all necessary amenities - hairdryer didn't work and shower curtain meant water poured over the bathroom floor. However the staff are very approachable and had I not brought my own hairdryer, I'm sure they would have found one for me. Perhaps time for shower screens though?? Iron and board available for guests use. Great choice at breakfast, so a very pleasant stay. (One heads up to management - housekeeping really need to vacuum behind cabinets) - I used to have my own hotel and know where to look!!! 😀

Reasonably good value, cooked to order breakfast with plenty of choice. Evening meal offered a fair number of dishes but service rather slow as only a few people in dining room. Large car park hotel set back from the road so quite peaceful. Mattress was very soft and wardrobe door very still to open. but overall a satisfactory experience for one night

Must have had their worst scenario 2 adults 2 grandchildren 2 dogs but wow! All well behaved including me! and staff most welcoming across the board.. and treated us all including the dogs as a family and nothing too much trouble. (Thats why boys and dogs loved you all)THANKS to you all for 1st class + service to us all. Words do do you justice. See you again.

Went to play foot golf with a few friends. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, except for all the walking of course, but obviously that can be expected! Very good value for money with 9 holes taking about 2 hours (£8). Customer service was friendly and helpful as soon as we walked in the door. Overall I definitely recommend people give foot golf a go at mytton fold!

Rooms are being updated, mine hadn't yet been; in need of an uplift but service was excellent and a peaceful location.
