Ive stayed at many hotels in Lancashire and this was by far the best one. Some of the reviews are so inaccurate. This was a great hotel, it was newly refurbished and the staff were welcoming and great. I got a free upgrade from a standard room to an ensuit room. The room was of a very high standard and it was all crisp and clean. Would recommend to anyone.

Extremely rude and unhelpful staff. Booked room online and was running late due to traffic on motorway. Charged me full amount on my card and did not let me check in. Was stranded without a place to stay the night. Beware of poor service, and book at your own risk!

Why would I thank the staff for staying late when it clearly states online that your reception is open 24 hours?! That makes no sense! If you advertise a service, then honour it. You still charged me for staying the night. Anyone with common sense will see how many negative 1/5 reviews you have on here. Funny when you notice the random 5/5 reviews in between the appalling ones! Clearly reviews written by your team!! If you want positive feedback from guests, I highly recommend you sort your poor customer service out!

Hill View Hotel Is Spiritual To Me And The Staff Are Very Kindred, Sincere And Faithful.The Staff Maintain A High Level Of Cleanliness. The Food Tastes Very Nice. Moses Would Be Proud Of Them Always. Adam Is Present Here, And Moses Will Always Smile With Him From Above. Mark Eternal.🤗🏆🤗

Small room. Not the greatest. Cheap and cheerful. You really get what you pay for with this place.

Stayed at this place due to a business trip, I'd heard mixed reviews. Gladly they where wrong. I found the place nice clean and tidy. Yes the place has just been  refurbished and it's nice, my room was 40% of what the bigger players in this market offer but what I got was in my view allot better. 
The facilities in the onsuite was really nice and good to see individually sealed soaps and shower gel, not a big fan off dispensers, just seems wrong and unhygienic. 
The bathroom had also been refitted to a high standard. Nice TV and good quality tea and coffee, plenty to go around, nice to see.
Customer service was nice too, all in all I really had a nice stay and hope you do too.
