Story

Sparth House, with all the majestic splendour of Georgian architecture and set in its own grounds, is a Grade ll listed building built in 1740. The interior has been tastefully decorated with a modern but stylish twist to enhance the Georgian feel of the hotel, offering a boutique and elegant look.

We are an exclusive wedding venue able to host and create a truly personal wedding experience.

On my first visit to Sparth House I knew this was the venue for me. And what a perfect day we had. Katie, our wedding coordinator, was fabulous. She went through everything with me that I wanted on the day, so when I showed up I really could just enjoy the day. Every single member of staff was friendly and professional. The food was simply amazing, and all my guests commented on how good it was. Having children at my wedding, I was delighted to see their meals brought out first before serving the adults, and then each individual table were served all at once, meaning no-one on the table were kept waiting for food. The bridal suite was gorgeous and the breakfast the next day was delicious.nIf you are looking for your perfect wedding venue, Sparth House is where you need to be. I wish I could do it all again
We had our wedding at Sparth House on 28.07.2023 and what an absolutely magical day they created for us.nnFrom the first time we saw Sparth House and met Katie we knew immediately that it would be our venue.nnKatie, Olivia and Emma were absolutely amazing. Katie was our main contact and she was there for me anytime I had a question or a panic, always reassuring me and making sure the day ran smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the girls and I could just hand them things throughout the day or ask for something and I would get it instantly!nnThe food was absolutely incredible, at the taster day, the night before and on our wedding day/the day! The chocolate brownie especially was absolutely amazing, all our guests commented on how delicious all the food was.nnStaying in the garden apartment the night before was absolutely amazing, and being able to get ready in such a beautiful place was brilliant. It made the day so much easier being in the place we were getting married and not needing to rush around and the night before and through the morning we had staff popping up to check if we needed anything.nnThere are no words for how amazing our day was, everything went so smoothly and not one thing went wrong and it is all down to the whole team at Sparth House. The serving staff were impeccable, we can’t get over how professional they were, they were constantly checking if everything was okay and if we needed anything, they truly made us feel so special.nnI would recommend Sparth House for anyone getting married, it is a beautiful venue, every room is different but all equally amazing and the outside spaces are brilliant for photos and to spend the day and night.
Sparth house for our wedding was a wonderful experience. Great communication and great for those who like to be planned and well organised. The day itself was amazing. From the minute we viewed the venue, we knew it was the one. The follow up appointments and shows rounds were always amazing and made us fall in love more and more with the venue each time.nnFrom start to finish the day of our wedding, I can’t thank Megan, Emma and Katie enough for how tentative you were, how organised and how seamless you made our day. Recently visited the Sparth House for family wedding an have to say its a great place.nnWell worth checking out & Visisting if you're looking for a wedding venue or just wishing have a break away solo or with a partner.nnBuilding is lovely inside! Loads of Victorian period features tastefully complimented with modern twists. Has a great rear garden as well!nnStaff an service at place was very professional an food was amazing!!nnDeffently recommended to friends an family!!.
