Good food. Service can be slow, but staff a friendly and never had a bad meal here

As usual the food is good however I called to place an order for collection and was told it would be 40mins so I decided to go to the restaurant for a quicker service as it’s only 5 minuets from my house firstly they had no draught beers available and was offered bottled but refused as I don’t think you get value for money in a bottle then the new waitress took my order of a starter and main of chicken tikka masala and coconut rice she thought I said plain rice so I corrected her then the main arrived consisting of coconut rice and chicken masala I asked if it was tikka masala she went to the kitchen to check and said it was then the other waitress came and confirmed it wasn’t tikka masala then the first waitress tried to tell me I ordered masala not tikka masala when it was clearly her mistake and after waiting a long enough time for the food I decided to settle up and leave without eating my main very sad coz the service and food it usually pretty good.

Avoid Banana leaf restaurant in South Croydon like a plague. Worst place to post food from. Terrible and puri cane 1 tiny piece for 3 pound. Two tiny Honda fit 3 pound. The food was terrible. Worst ever place to order from. The biriyani had half a cup and costs 9 pounds. Avoid it like a plague For was also terrible. I spoke to them they said that's how the send food.

Sent me raw chicken.. I should have sued them for that... had blood in it... foul smell.. this happens if microwaves half cooked tandoori... it was not fresh... new management is so poor!

Food came an hour after the due time, also the madras (which is supposed to be hot) was quite watery and was as spicy as a lettuce sandwich. The only impressive thing about this restaurant is how terrible both the service and food is. It's like they went out of their way to give me an appalling take away
