Just popped in to pick up some paint for the spare bedroom, and I have to say the staff there are absolutely brilliant! I was completely overwhelmed by all the colour options, but one of the gentlemen in the store took the time to really listen to what I was trying to achieve and helped me narrow it down to the perfect shade. He even explained which primer I'd need and gave me tips on cutting in around the skirting boards.The lady at checkout was equally lovely.nIt's that kind of thoughtful service that makes all the difference. The store itself is well-organised and clean, making it easy to find what you need. Will definitely be back for my next DIY project!
I'm a fan of B&Q, the shop stocks almost everything, is well organized, and prices for most of the items are very reasonable. This trip I bought a new lawnmower and some garden stuff .. B&Q prices were the same or less expensive than Amazon.nnAnother thing I like here, is that a lot of the staff have practical trade experience and are able to offer helpful advice on whatever it is you are planning to do.nnAnd my favorite thing, getting my timber cut to size in the shop and the offcuts pile! I'm always adding a few shelves and storage to my house and getting a few offcuts for 50p really makes my day

18/06/2025 19:40nWent to get some electric items, The guys on the floor were very helpful, The lady on the till had no conversation at all. I wish they had self checkouts with cash options. No hi, bye or thanks. Won't hurt to say some extra good words to customers.
