Charming little pub. The food is great and well worth the money. Nice drinks also. What's even more good is that the staff is friendly and welcoming. The two young ladies who served me we're nice and efficient and welcoming.

Had lunch here on a weekday (Tuesday) it was possibly the best steak and stilton pie I've ever eaten. It was mouth watering delicious. Good beer, good service, lovely setting in Ashford.

Friendly staff and delicious food. The Ashford smoky was a particularly tasty starter and the meat dishes were delicious. Lovely home made chips all reasonably priced.

Have been here before and had lovely food. Four of us dined this time. 2 meals were up to standard. I ordered BBQ ribs. Think they had been boiled as all fat still sloppy. Husband had mixed grill but steak was tough although he said the rest was lovely. Also when ordering veg, thinking healthy option, do they serve deep fried boccolli and cauliflower covered in cheese sauce (not cooked in it). Only the carrots were eaten by all of us.NO WONDER WE ARE BECOMING AN OBESE NATION. Good wholesome food is all we need. Noone asked during the meal if everything was ok although the staff were very polite and friendly.
