The service at the Westfield Apple Store in West London is absolutely terrible, including the manager. The staff's attitude is awful, and the wait times they give you are completely inaccurate. Initially, they tell you to wait for about three hours, but when you come back, they tell you to wait another two hours. They don't care about your time at all. Additionally, when your device is broken, their attitude is especially horrible. I bought an iPad, and it broke in less than a year. Their attitude was atrocious; they refused to repair it and made you wait endlessly without any regard for the customer's feelings. This store's service is atrocious. They don't care if your stuff is broken; they just tell you to wait and give you incorrect wait times. The manager's attitude is even worse. They are not there to solve problems at all.
The store is situated at level 5 from car park A. Their setup service ends at 7 pm. If you're trading in your old iPhone, make sure you have enough storage in iCloud and back up everything. If you're not backing up your WhatsApp conversations, then make sure you do before you attend. These backups take too long, and it will save you a lot of time at the store. Call to arrange an appointment. The store is very big with many employees. The young man working at the entrance and the security officer weren't friendly. The two female employees we spoke to were very friendly and helpful.
Shockingly poor customer service - after spending £899 on a new iPhone 15 a ‘customer service’ staff member called Ricky told me he couldn’t help me get it set up as I had not purchased the item in their store! He was rude and abrupt and said it was store policy! I politely asked to speak to his manager and was approached by a seemingly kind guy called Henry who whilst appearing to be helpful said I could sit down in their store and get it set up myself and ask for help if I got stuck. WOW! That’s what you get for spending nearly a grand on apple products! I did sit down and started to do as he advised. Henry the manager then told me I couldn’t sit where I was seated at a totally empty table as something was starting there soon. I left the store. I returned a minute later to double check I had the names correct and I saw Henry laughing with his colleagues. I am truly upset by the cold and disrespectful manner in which I was treated. DO NOT USE THIS STORE! Apple customer service used to be exemplary - sadly not in this store and not from Rude Ricky and Hurtful Henry. Shame on you.
As I scheduled an appointment with Genius Bar service team, I want to commend Sophia for her exceptional problem-solving skills and dedication. She tackled my issue with impressive speed and precision, demonstrating a deep understanding of the problem and providing a solution that exceeded my expectations. She resolved it in a recorded Time. Amazing
This Apple Store is very much hit or miss. Had some really good experiences with great staff who have always managed to give great advice, customer service and support. Unfortunately the other 50% of the time the store seems understaffed, with long wait times and inconsistent messaging given depending on what staff member you speak to. On this occasion the staff member immediately dismissed a warranty request for a case bought 4 months ago because “they had never seen that issue before” despite many others experiencing the same issue online. For the price you pay, I’d expect both a quality product and consistent service. In this case, I received neither.
