Perfect for City students. Lovely rooms for the price, friendly reception staff especially Susan and Carlos and an overall great experience for my first time living away from home!
I enjoyed one year of my life at Alliance House. The place is beautiful and friendly, safe and clean, very good access to bus routes tho a bit far from tube. Staff and people there are all very nice and kind especially Carlos and Esmat were really friendly and helpful.
Just moved in here a week ago and am already impressed. My room was exactly expected. The grounds and courtyards are beautiful and kept up well. The week I moved in, the house hosted a welcome party with pizza, beers, and sodas. The party was a lot of fun and tons of students showed up. It was the perfect time to get to know all the people I'm going to be living near for the next year. The senior residents were very kind and welcoming.
I wish I could had taken pictures. The toilets is absolutely disgusting. Hair everything. Toilet is dirty. Everything. It was so freaking horrible. Also it has pride flag everywhere. Very in your face. Doesn't take regard to non pride followers
I've lived here for the past 2 years and have had an amazing experience! The rooms are great value for money and it's a reasonable distance 20 mins by bus to City university. The staff are amazing, especially Pham Maintenance worker and he always gets issues with the room sorted as quickly as possible. The reception staff are friendly are provide good assistance, Rahena is really nice and easy to talk to and always helps if you have a problem and goes the extra mile
I lived here for 1 year. This student hall is above my expectation. Friendly reception, especially Karlos who is very nice and kind. The location is very close to bus stop with 6 bus routes, which can take you to many places in London. Located at a good and safe surrounding in a Turkish area.
Upsides: - Direct bus to City University under 30 minutes. - The management handled the pandemic very well. Visitors were strictly not allowed let alone big parties. This is in stark contrast to other student accommodations where students were reportedly having caught the virus due to partying. Ideal for students seeking a Covid-safe accommodation. - Fast and very stable internet connection you need this for various Zoom classes and meetings. - 24 hours security and CCTV. Downsides: - Noise insulation between rooms/flats can certainly be improved. - Windows that cannot be fully opened --- not very convenient during summer.
I have been living in Alliance House for the past two years and it has been an amazing experience. The rooms and common areas are very clean and the accommodation is quiet and centrally located with easy access to every part of London. The staff and maintenance team are incredible and have always been very helpful :D
I would recommend this to any student in any year as it is both affordable and equipped with good surrounding transport routes to City Uni and anywhere else in general. Rahena and Shikayla were the very best people attending my requests or questions. They are very efficient, attentive and very friendly as well. I would like to express my great gratitude for these two members due to their exceptional work and commitment during my stay at Alliance House. Thank you very much for your attention and wish you the best.
I stayed at Alliance House for a year. It was a brilliant place - very green and well-designed, very quiet despite its central location, and with friendly staff. Particularly, Rahana Hussain was always helpful and went the extra mile to be of service, especially when I was moving out at the end of year. A great place for any post-grad student to stay while they are studying.
