Reasonably quiet train station with good access to Otterspool Promenade. No step free access to either platform. Limited seating and shelter on the platform. Also needs more bins. Past couple of times I've been ticket office was closed with a note stuck to it saying buy tickets at end station, meant there were no staff on hand if you needed help. Has a very small car park about 10 spaces which is normally full.
A pleasant little station, served by half hourly service on a Sunday and every 15 minutes Monday to Saturday to Southport and Hunts Cross, which is OK for a local rail service. Train station seemed well maintained and well presented. I did notice that the disabled toilet was out of order, although good to know they have one when it is working.
Otterspool Promenade Isa beautiful place to hang around with our family. See the river Mersey on a sunny day profiting of the preserved nature and at the same time having a nice pub and a coffee place to drink and eat something. Great place!
Surely, I would say this is a great place. I was careful at the huge step onto the platform. Apart from that it's a great station even if it's not that busy as you may know as you go there. Also don’t think there’s step free access
It's a nice and clean train station. There's an inside waiting area, a covered area and a toilet.
Wonderful kind guy in the ticket booth today sat 10 Feb 1pm printed out my train return times for me without me even asking.thankyou
