Quiet, clean and plenty of car parking
Quite a nice, modern station with thought given to providing some greenery to brighten up the urban landscape and the unusual design of the footbridge makes it a distinctive and curiously attractive feature, at least on a sunny day. The car park is fairly small but if this is full try the street on the opposite side of station, where you can also park for free and walk directly on to footbridge.
Modern station..access ramps
Trains are usually running late at this station only by a few minutes but with the lack of seating and shelter here it can make a long wait even longer. Needs more seating, shelter and bins. Station can get busy especially at peak times, and trains arriving into the station are normally already standing room only liverpool-bound.
Pleasant enough station and accessible. Train was delayed as they often are! but plenty of signs/updates
Normally great customer service but not this time, was waiting at the counter for ages before the fella with the glasses came and he was pretending he didn't hear me either and being slow on purpose as my train was arriving
