If you are looking for a place with the cheapest beer and the nicest people, this is definitely your place in town. Super kind owners will serve you there. They also organise karaoke nights and quiz nights which you can check out and follow through "thelongbarbristol1" at IG.
Great pub, been going here for years but more regularly recently. Cheapest pint you'll get in the city centre area. You'll find a mix of all types of people here, all different ages. The staff are wicked and really friendly. Recently refurbished. The staff are really friendly too. They sell cobs/rolls behind the bar, got a Duke box and good range of beers, cider and spirts.
amazing pub, amazing atmosphere and amazing prices! can get a tasty roll for £2.50 and a double g&t for £4!! couldn’t recommend Long Bar enough - Emma and Dave are legend landlords
The best boozer in bristol. Really friendly staff and the atmosphere is always great. Cheap and cheerful is an understatement. The recent refurbishment makes for a lovely setting, especially since the building itself is so old. Cannot recommend this place enough.
A proper old school pub with very reasonable priced drinks and a fantastic crowd of locals. No generic brown leather seats or tinny pop music playing - a trendy wine bar this is not - it’s a British pub that’s been the starting point for many of my adventure in Bristol! I would often visit alone - and quickly find myself in friendly conversation with a fellow drinker and never failed to have a good time. Check your prejudices at the door, step back in time and enjoy a nice beer or cider that won’t hammer your wallet. It’s a little rough around the edges - just like a proper pub should be!
Love the staff it the best night out worth going to this pub
Brilliant proper boozer with plenty of colourful characters. Gets very unfair bad press from people who have obviously never been here. Love it and one of my very regular pubs. A must if cider is your thing and value for money!.
Spit and Sawdust kind of boozer with a down at heal vibe but a true Bristol Cider bar with great cask cider and Natch. It is what it is if you like it you know.
Nice refurb Sensible prices Great tv for sport
