The staff were friendly and helpful. The cold tap in the room came out as warm unless you ran for a good few minutes. The food in the restaurant was ok, although the steak that should have been medium rare came out as well done.

Nice place, good location in the centre of Worcester. Easy access from the motorway, cheapish car park next door (£8 for 24hrs after using the hotel discount), good breakfast and beer. Quiet overnight.

Very misleading breakfast deal. Passing the Ye Olde Talbot we noticed a huge permanent poster on the wall next to the entrance saying - breakfast £4.99. We entered and sat down to look at the menu on the table, which also said main breakfast £4.99 and eggs and toast £3.50. There was no-one serving at the bar so I had to go and find someone to serve me. After putting the order in the lady took payment which I thought sounded very high. She didn't offer me a receipt so I asked for one. After checking the receipt I noticed I had been charged £6.99 for a breakfast and £6.99 for eggs on toast?!? Which was for our 3 year old. I went to speak to the lady who served me and she told me the prices on the menu which was on the table were wrong as we were 'walk ins'. I mentioned the massive poster outside on the wall next to the entrance which also said £4.99 and she didn't seem to know what i was talking about. I then said I wasn't happy with the price and requested a refund but our food had already been delivered and my daughter has started eating. Instead of honour the advertised price, which is what should have happened, she just deducted the coffees. Another note is when the food was served, half the food was cold and was missing ingredients. Which we had to wait further for. I'm still completely confused as to how the pub/hotel could advertise in huge writing on the front door breakfast at £4.99 AND also have the same price on the menu, YET tell me this amount was wrong. Terrible service and experience. We won't be going again.

Very helpful staff, excellent hotel and rooms, very comfortable and a super location, will be staying again here, longer next time, 10/10. Five stars ✨
