This wetherspoons is so special ! I've only been in the one time after walking over Malvern hills. It's got panoramic views of Malvern from every window but unfortunately all those seats were taken! I'm going to go there early for breakfast next time I visit Malvern as it's spectacular! Amazingly big place & very quirky too. Has a lovely beer garden. Will be really nice in summertime to sit outside taking in all the views which can be seen for miles. Can't wait to go there again.
I've been to this Wetherspoons on quite a few occasions and must say it is a nice relaxing venue with plenty of space both indoors and outside, in warmer weather, with lovely views from the seating area as well as some of the indoor window seats. The staff are always very polite and helpful and the food is well up to the normal Wetherspoon standard. Would happily recommend if you are in the area or a local, like me !!!
I'd booked a hotel room for some friends staying, and although everything was done and dusted they took the time to contact me about how service would change due to the Queen's funeral taking place - a nice touch to keep customers informed. they also repeated the same information at check-in, just to check we were aware of everything. Eating there in the evening, we used the app to place a couple or orders here, but found meals and drinks still took some time to arrive. The meal was okay... the steak I ordered being a bit dry, so was grateful for the side sauce. Out of the three steaks ordered, only two came with a steak knife, which seemed a bit strange. In all, it was sufficient to fill a hole but I've had better meals in other Wetherspoons - I don't feel a compelling reason to return here. However, my friends enjoyed their stay away, so it was clear it worked as a hotel.
Food arrived promptly and was tasty and hot. Had a table by the window so enjoyed superb views. Have discovered 3 hours free parking at Waitrose so no rush to get back to the car.
Room was decent, clean, quieter than I expected although you can hear a bit of noise at kicking out time in the street outside. Convenient for theatre and restaurants. On street parking if lucky available at a bit of a walk away. Would stay again
Very unfortunate that the premises are NOT DOG FRIENDLY, dogs not allowed either inside or out, very unusual for a pub these days. The premises are still interesting, although the interior is getting rather tired as are most of Wetherspoons premises. The staff are helpful and attentive and the food adequate for the price, the range if beers is extensive.
I work for a local charity called SKY Autism and I lead an 18+ group for people with ASD who meet every Wednesday downstairs in the Foley Arms. Although some weeks there can be some issues with orders due to it being an extremely busy pub I have nothing but praise for the management and their staff. Their compassion, understanding and patience with our service users who can sometimes be challenging and have hidden disabilities is 1st class. Carol, Rachel, Kia, Rich, Alex, Jack and the team have been nothing but brilliant in the 2 years I've used their pub, resolving issues to the best of their ability and always being on hand to assist me and my group when needed. Thank you for all you do it is very much appreciated!
Visited here in Aug 2022. Tables were dirty, alot of the food was unavailable, 3/4 of an hours wait for our 3rd choice food selection in a half empty pub. Watched people come in and walk out in disgust. We should have done the same. Visited again this week, hoping it was a one off. But literally nothing changed. Tables still dirty, place half empty. Told food was a 30 minute wait. Went to place a food order but our choices weren't available. We walked out and won't be returning to this Spoons again. Other than the view by far the worst we've ever been in.
We booked a night's stay at the Foley Arms and was pleasantly surprised by the size and spec of the room. There was a decent bed, bathroom and other facilities such as TV, kettle, hairdryer and iron. The kettle had a good range of drinks, but as always a limited amount of UHT milk however oatmilk was also available for vegans. The was some noise during the evening, but we had a second floor room so that was slightly reduced. The big disappointment was that breakfast took over an hour to arrive and one of the choices we had made was not available so had to make another choice, they only identified the error after 40 minutes. When breakfast arrived it felt dried up and had been kept warm. The waiter was very helpful and polite, but I think they were very understaffed. Hopefully this situation is rectified as it could be a good venue to stay.
One of the best property with one of the worst service ever experienced. Ordered a pizza , wings , and some nachos had to go on the bar for like 5 times to ask for my food with 75% of pub empty and everyone being served food before us . Please improve the service , you have got one of the most beautiful places in England .
