I booked a Premier Plus room for a 4-nights business trip. The room is what you’d expect from a mid-range hotel: it was perfectly decent, but it’s not obvious what makes it a superior room. That it doesn’t face the road? I couldn’t find any other ‘perks’ for the extra fee. The Plus room comes with ‘Ultimate WiFi’, which is shockingly bad. It’s either very slow or doesn’t work at all, which is a real problem on a work trip. If you need reliable internet access to work in your room, this hotel is not for you. Otherwise, good location, relative comfortable bed and a pleasant building.
I only live 5 minutes away but booked an accessible room to test if hotel stays away from home are still viable now I'm disabled/a wheelchair user and I'm very impressed with my experience, the room I had was a great size, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom had lots of access features. Unfortunately it had a lower bath rather than being a wet room, but this was clear from the moment I selected my dates for stay, I can't use a bath but it wasn't an issue as I only stayed one night and could have a shower when I got home, it's a great hotel for anyone visiting worcester as it's close to lots of beautiful areas in the city and various attractions people may wish to visit.
You pretty much always know exactly what you're getting with a purple Palace which is why it's a good place to stay. Worcester is no exception . Rooms are the standard layout, there is no air con here though just ambient temp control. The restaurant is attached and directly overlooks the cricket ground.nTeam were helpful and check in easy, WiFi is a let down though really drops out so hard to work from here, could be as I was on the top floor.
Nice premier inn in Worcester town centre. Staff are friendly. Rooms are pretty good. The location is right next to River Severn and a short walk across Worcester bridge to shops, restaurants, etc, with views of the river and cathedral. The hotel is adjacent to Worcester county cricket ground so the occurrence of cricket matches can affect room availability and pricing. Parking is pretty expensive: £3 overnight, £7.50 for 12 hours during the day.
This would be great if u were staying and then watching the cricket, especially if you get a room that over looks the grounds. You also go the view of the river, nice spot. Free parking if your staying their. Rooms good, clean.
