Best breakfast we have ever had . Black pudding served well cooked plus thick bacon. Hash browns, fried eggs etc. Room great.,bed comfy, bathroom clean with a toilet at the correct height for someone with bad knees.nOnly problem was walking distance from rooms to car park if one has got mobility issues like bad knees. Staff friendly..
This was our first dance break at the Abbey Hotel, and it didn't disappoint. The check in was quick and efficient, and our access to the Ballroom every day for us and our dancers was smooth and perfectly prepared for our classes and evening dances. Everyone commented on how good the food was and the quick service in the Priory restaurant. All dietary needs were catered for, which was much appreciated. The Gala Dinner was superb, and we didn't expect the attention to detail for each table with place names showing the individual menu choices - amazing. Our guests were very impressed and felt the whole occasion to be 'special'. All the staff were pleasant, professional and helpful, and we could not fault anything. Our guests were very pleased with their accommodation and overall, they would welcome us arranging another break at the Abbey. The location is perfect for exploring the Malvern Hills, surrounding towns or Great Malvern itself. The hotel also provides a free pass to the local gym and swimming pool.
Very good helpful and freindly team. Great location for the Malvern Hills and town. Room was spotless and had all the amenities required for my stay. Was great my dog was allowed in the room with me just a shame there isnt an area where you can enjoy a drink from the bar with the dog but fully understand and respect the hotel rules. Breakfast was included but having the dog couldn't use the resturant so had it delivered to my room and they dont charge the £4 tray charge. Great choice and all cooked and presented nice and delivered by a freindly member of the team. Excellent stay overall and very impressed with the helpful and freindly service I received during my stay. Will definitely stay on my next visit to Malvern
What an excellent hotel, a truly memorable experience. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and stylishly furnished. The food breakfast and dinner was delicious, the seabass was to die for and the staff were all very friendly, helpful and professional. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend experience. Will definitely be returning.
I recently stayed at The Abbey Hotel in Malvern, and it was a truly memorable experience. The hotel is housed in a historic former abbey, which immediately gives it a unique charm and character. From the moment you arrive, you're surrounded by a sense of history, with the architecture and interior design reflecting the building’s centuries-old heritage.nnThe room I stayed in was comfortable and tastefully decorated, maintaining a balance between historic atmosphere and modern convenience. The bed was exceptionally large and very comfortable – perfect for a restful night after exploring the surrounding area. Despite the age of the building, everything was well-maintained and clean.nnBreakfast at the hotel was a highlight. It was a very traditional British breakfast, complete with eggs, sausages, baked beans, toast, and more. It was hearty and satisfying, served in a dining room that continued the medieval feel of the building with its tall windows and classic décor.nnThe surroundings of the hotel are stunning and add to the overall experience. The town of Malvern has a distinctly medieval character, with cobbled streets, historic buildings, and scenic views of the nearby hills. It’s a wonderful setting for a relaxing stay with a touch of historic romance.nnI would definitely recommend The Abbey Hotel to anyone looking for a unique, atmospheric stay in the heart of a charming English town.
