I visited the spa and ate lunch here, so cannot comment on the bedrooms, but we had a lovely day. The pool is small, and there were quite a few children in it on Saturday morning, but it's adults only from noon until 3pm. The pool is clean and the water is warm. The hotel generally is clean and nicely decorated, and the staff were all pleasant and helpful. The people working in the spa were particularly lovely, and I'd highly recommend it.

The hotel was easy to find, check in was quick and easy. The room was a double room, but quite snug, there wasn't much room between the end of the bed and unit which the TV was on. The bathroom window wouldn't shut properly somafe the room quite cold even with the door shut and the heating on. The bathroom itself was clean, except for the shower curtain which has sent better days( probably could with being replaced) The facilities were really good, My partner and I had the use of the pool,sauna, steam room and jacuzzi all to ourselves for an hr or so, which was nice.. All in all it was a pleasant stay and would stay here again..

Pleasant ambiance in an interesting building one could describe as blend of Mediterranean and Mexican architectural styles. Large lounge/bar and restaurant, well-equipped spa (including a hotel-sized swimming pool) and nicely laid out sheltered outdoor garden. Prices generally lower than at other Holiday Inns in the Birmingham area and would have certainly received 4 stars had it not been for the fact for the first of two winter nights spent here the heating in the room wasn't working so it was decidedly on the chilly side.

We have stayed here quite a few times. We got married here in 2011 and have stayed here nearly ever year since then. Staff are very friendly and are always available to help and are happy to do so. The spa is amazing and they have many treatments available. In pool area is small but spotless. They also have a hot tub, sauna and steam room. ⭐⭐

The staff were friendly and welcoming. Good facilities. Nice atmosphere and good relaxing break out areas. No-one around at the leisure facilities which was the only negative and changing rooms were freezing!
