This is my local vintner shop and I could not be happier with them. Rob, the manager is extremely knowledgeable and always available to help in a good cheer. Other staff members are great too :) They always have a bottle or two open to let you try so you can see if you like it before you buy it. Their whisky selection is also growing and they stock a respectable variety of gins as well. They cover a wide price range as well so everyone should be able to pick up a bottle of wine which is to their liking and they can actually afford. My view is, you could go to the supermarket and pick up a random bottle you know nothing about, or visit Woodwinters, get expert help and sometimes not even pay more you would have paid in a supermarket! It's really a no-brainer for me.
