Staff can be snotty on occasion most are helpful and informative , but there seems to be a real commission oriented vibe , also a bit of a snob shop if you look posh and well heeled they fall over themselves to let you have a sample cause if your posh you must really appreciate wine and all that (??) otherwise all they care about is getting your money in the till regardless of whether your giving them repeat business you don't look well heeled you probably won't be given any samples. But at the same token they begrudgingly take your custom. Also once I come in with a wee bag with shopping already in it and bought a bottle of wine literally had to prompt the staff member to provide a carrier bag. They have a narrow selection of wine the usual regions and nations not much adventure in the selection compared to some other wine shops. But its clean and well displayed.
