Amazing liquor store. Wow, of the 10 places we tried, this is hands down the best. The guys I didn't catch their names were fantastic. Offered tequila samples which were delicious. Were able to stock up on all different liquors and wines. Just a great selection of everything. I highly recommend!
A beautiful shop in a beautiful area of Edinburgh with great service. I am not a very knowledgeable on alcohol person but I wanted to get a bottle of whisky for family friends. Mackenzie was really attentive and patient with me as a customer since I had a million questions and wanted clarification on different notes, flavours and general descriptions of whisky. The whisky I got for my friend was incredibly liked by them and that was all thanks to the recommendations of and long chat I had with Mackenzie, who showed great personal approach to my requests .
Staff was very helpful in finding me the Lochmond open championship whiskey. Nice, knowledgeable staff. Thank you.
Was buying a gift for a friend’s housewarming and was able to pick up a couple of great little bits. Staff were lovely and helped me out, answering all my questions! Was particularly impressed by the selection of bitters :
Knowledgeable and friendly people. Almost spent 45 min chatting, tasting, and getting their recommendations on a number of whiskeys. It was nice of them offering a tasting of a bunch of items. Cheers!

Spectacular liquor store with an incredible selection of wines, whiskys and more. The owner is incredibly lovely and amazingly knowledgeable with great suggestions based on your tastes. I came away with a whisky, champagne and bottle of red. How could I not! Very happy.
I'm so happy that I read all the reviews online and decided to come to this store which was a quick 5 minute walk from the flat I was staying in while visiting Edinburgh then to have shopped in one of the many tourist trap whisky shops. Aside from the fact that this shop is lovely, aesthetic and organized, the service was perfection. I walked in and a gentleman by the name of Andrew greeted me. I told him what I was looking for and he was so incredibly helpful. Andrew was very knowledgeable about all the products. He asked me what my budget was, which I appreciated, and then shared his suggestions. It was a wonderful experience shopping there and I felt I could trust his recommendations. And he did not disappoint! The whisky was excellent! I'll definitely shop here again when I return.
