Small independent shop with an amazing selection of wines, beers (including sours) and spirits - different from the usual offerings in the chain stores, with super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great for boozy Christmas presents!

Brilliant little shop with a great selection of beer, wine, and a few other choice beverages. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Always possible to find something interesting here.

I cant believe all the postive reviews raving about the freindly properiater ????, all I encontered was a grumpy self absorbed rude English kid with a slight north English accent , who went out of his way to be rude and obnaxious at every turn in a simple transaction basically every thing was too much trouble and needed to be laced with a nasty attitude. 0 Customer service , looks like this is just another drop off from the gentrification overload , foreign porperieter elvating a daily stable into an elite aspirational product seeting up shop and shaping modern Edinburgh into a characterless global market. I would rather buy my booze at the co op next door friendly helpful and cortious staff not to mention the supermarkets are in on the whole hipster micro beer market so you can pick up a lot similar and the same at more affordable prices. No doubt if you look nove rich hipster home country spun you might get a diffirent reception here. Personally I'd rather see a pub on this road as a pose to what is becoming a slew of high charging non Scottish business's chain shops dominating the street of the capitals suberbrs. However I'm sure the artisan beer brigade will be up in arms if a real pub was plonked here they would much rather have a shop with alvates beer of all things into a snob fest aspriatonal consumer gimick. No doubt

Great service from knowledgeable staff, always happy to recommend an appropriate beer or wine. Huge selection of Scottish craft beers, with international bottles from a range of brewing styles. Some beers in fridge and ready to drink, very convenient in summer!
