This was the smoothest wedding I'd been to. Food was good and hot, staff were great and always happy to help. The outside area was perfect and the turnaround of the main room was rapid. The location being so close to Leeds makes it super easy to get to from the centre or via motorway.
If you’re in doubt of booking a wedding here please have no fears! Had the best day! The orangery is such a lovely space for the ceremony, meal and evening party. Massive thank you to all the staff! Special mention to Abigail, Jess and Mark who really went above and beyond. A special place! Really convenient for travel as it’s close to motorways, Leeds, Bradford etc.
Grand hotel in Leeds. Though near the motorway, it's quiet inside with good sized double rooms and modern glam bathrooms. Friendly staff and tasty breakfast. Quite easy to locate. Would stay there again.Rooms: 5/5
stayed overnight. the staff were really friendly and excellent service. room was perfect for overnight, in the eves with air con. we had dinner and breakfast the next morning, both were excellent. altogether a lovely stay.Rooms: 5/5
Expensive rooms. All charged the same but size and quality varies. Too hot in summer as no air con and our bedroom only had a small window that opened. Bedroom had secondhand mismatched old furniture not antique. Decor in poor condition. Breakfast was short staffed for number of guests staying. Ran out of plates and food. Breakfast food that was available was dried up and tough to eat. Dinner excellent but breakfast quality let it down. Excellent wedding venue but would recommend staying elsewhere as others nearby are cheaper and better quality.
Beautiful hotel in which we stayed the night of a wedding we was guests at, The rooms were large and very well kept. The grounds are beautiful and the wedding was spectacular. Also the breakfast was great and overall was excellent service. Would visit again

Always an absolute pleasure to work with Woodlands Hotel! We've provided our weddings bands and DJ packages on numerous occasions throughout the years and have always found the venue, staff and food to be above and beyond! Highly recommend this wonderful wedding venue.Rooms: 5/5
We got married here back in November and it was honestly the best decision we made to have the Woodlands as our venue. Everything was organised so well, the venue is immaculate and the orangery was absolutely beautiful for our ceremony, it is everything we wanted and more. It was also close to Christmas, so all of the gorgeous decorations were up in the venue - which just added to the day for us! All of the team are extremely helpful in organising your big day, special thanks to Abbigail who co-ordinated our wedding, and Marc our toast master on the day - both did such a wonderful job and we can't thank you enough. A great venue that can hold over 100 family and friends exclusively, we would 100% recommend to anyone looking for the perfect venue! The Coverdales Nicki and James
