What a pleasure to stay at the Cornmill Lodge Hotel. The Staff are so pleasant and welcoming not only in reception but also in the restaurant. Plus the food is exceptional as the majority is home cooked. Same we were socials there were a lovely list of deserts. Plus some were served with custard. We can only give this place the highest recommendation.x Rooms: Spacious. Clean. Every thing we needed. Quite a lovely place. The staff were very kind and the beds were great. They even had the strongest fan I've seen anywhere in the UK. So that's nice. Breakfast was also pretty good. Honestly worth the stay.Rooms: 5/5
Second time staying here and it’s just as lovely as I remember! Gorgeous clean rooms with excellent facilities, sparkling bathroom stocked up with soaps and gels, and beautiful grounds outside to enjoy. The breakfast is fantastic, plenty of variety to fill you up for your day and the staff here are all polite and friendly and extremely helpful. Special shoutout to Tracy, who truly went above and beyond to accommodate us. Both mornings I requested dairy-free milk to use with the coffee facilities in my room and both times I was met with enthusiasm and understanding and PLENTY of soy milk! Additionally, prior to our check out, we asked for bin bags for our muddy clothes we had been at a festival and Tracy gave us two bags along with warm friendly chat and genuine love for what she does. She even moved a spider out the way because she didn’t want to be squashed, and if that isn’t the mark of a truly generous compassionate human, then I don’t know what is!
I stayed here for a work trip, the staff were very warm and welcoming. The room was adequately sized but was fine for my needs. The bed was very comfy and the shower was hot with good pressure. The room was clean. One small issue was with the WiFi but I think I just needed to move closer to the WiFi point. The car park had an ample amount of spaces and a nice outdoor area to sit, which is a covered area
Good value, very soft bed which was a surprise. Good evening meal. Pity the walls were a bit thin and the neighbours decided to have a Bullseye TV watching party at midnight... you're also next to a busy road so bring ear plugs if it's got and you need to open a window. Great breakfast but no none dairy milk so bring your own oat milk if you allergy issues.
Warm welcome at reception, rooms ready even though we'd arrived early. Clean and tidy. Breakfast was buffet style, everything was there. Handy for Leeds, Farsley areas.Rooms: 5/5
Came for a family Birthday Celebration, Stayed over two nights to relax on the day of the party, The Staff from the Reception to the Bar Staff and the Dining room Staff 1st class , nice to see staff who enjoy working together, Although I only had the breakfast and the Buffet in the party which was 1st Class some family members had a meal and enjoyed it, I'll definitely stay here again if I'm passing through Leeds in the future
We have been to the restaurant for Sunday carvery a few times in the past. We have always called in advance to book a table. On this occasion I was told we didn’t need to book as there were only four of us and they don’t book for that many and will fit us in no problem. We arrived to be told it will be at least an hour, I explained what had been said on the phone and the guy just said “well she didn’t know that we are busy” You can wait in the bar if you want. Really? Your own staff don’t know if it’s busy on a Sunday lunchtime. Why have a non booking policy? Maybe shunting people into the bar to wait an hour for a table has its financial benefits. We won’t be returning.
We stayed at this hotel a couple of weeks ago couldn't fault it we had an issue won't go into but they were so caring and concerned lovely food and rooms so clean all the staff seemed so happy to work there couldn't fault it would like to go back there when we are 100% okRooms: 5/5
Good night sleep in a super king size bed. Room and bathroom modern and clean. Food was very good in the hotel restaurant and would highly recommend the home made steak and ale pie!! A good cooked english breakfast in the morning and real coffee!!Rooms: 5/5
