Been to Wingham 4 times, it's a must visit. Lots of animals to see and the walk is not tiring like other zoos, well organized within the space that they have. The newly added play area was very nice as people can take a break and then carry on, kids love it. There are ice cream shops and food places inside budget friendly. Will definitely visit again
Amazing value for money! All the animals looked well cared for in large natural enclosures, we were able to see almost all the animals even on an overcast day they were all out, the tigers were right next to the fence within reaching distance, really enjoyed the nocturnal animals, we ate at the play cafe 2 jacket potatoes suprised they were good value for money and didn't take long to be ready, would definitely recommend coming hear we wish we had come earlier in the day as 4 hours wasn't enough !
Fantastic! Animals all healthy and happy Affordable day entry. Mobility scooter access everywhere which really made our day out more enjoyable as could enter every area with ease wingham should get a reward for the disability access throughout their park. We loved the reptile house and nocturnal area, the tigers were so fun to watch and the ice cream Affordable and delicious. Toilets clean. Great wildlife park !!!!! Only thing was a few bins overflowing by 2pm but other than than we loved it, we will return
Our favourite is the reptile house, but the park has so much more than that to offer, as we have explored with our annual pass. A great fun day out for the whole family, with many animals, some of them rescued, and most of them looking happy and well taken care of. I was never a big fan of zoos but all the workers I have encountered in Wingham seem to care about the animals and do their best to keep them healthy and safe. The playgrounds and soft play area are amongst the highlights for young children, as they may be even better than the ones one might have in their local area. The dinosaur park was the reason we chose it in the first place and we were not wrong! We will definitely renew our annual pass; it's worth it!
Didn't know this place existed until I was told about it from someone who heard it advertised on the radio. So we thought we would check it out and im glad we did. There was no ques to get in, the staff were friendly and the lay out was great. The range of animals they had was very varied and they all looked loved and looked after. Highly recommend.
Situated just a few miles from Canterbury in Kent. This medium sized zoo has a wide range of animals including big cats, bears, giraffes, penguins, apes and monkeys, wolves and much more. Their two lions were rescued and are living out their years in peace and safety. It takes a good 3 hours to get around everything. For kids there is a giant bug garden, a dinosaur walk where some are animated and there are inside and outside play areas too! There are places to buy food and drink dotted around the park and other areas where you can rest and eat your own food. There are plenty of toilets. There are talks from the staff, I joined one about the tigers and there was a Q&A session at the end. The keeper was knowledgeable and friendly. The zoo has a large and free car park. Many areas have good access if you are a wheelchair user. Entry prices are reasonable, quite a bit less than other zoo parks in Kent.
Love this place. One of the Best places with kids. Not only my son but my wife, brother in law and me all enjoyed a lot I will give 5 stars. Penguins feeding was wonderful experience Highly recommended Will be uploading more pictures soon. Don't forget to buy food for parrots. You will enjoy
Been following this place on Facebook for years. Finally decided to make the 3 hour journey to visit. Wasn't disappointed. Loved our day. First time I have seen Arctic Wolves and Moon bears. Not seen Clouded leopards for many years too so that was special. Very enjoyable day
Wingham is a Fantastic animal park. It's one of my granddaughters favourite places she has been visiting it since she was born. She is five this year and knows so much about the animals. Her favourite are the cappiebaras. The staff are always polite and very helpful. It's a great place to spend the day.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Excellent day. Well laid out park, lots of animals on display. Good keeper talks especially tigers & giraffes. Good activities for young ones. Food on expensive side but packed lunches not deterred. Well done WinghamVisited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
