My son attended this nursery for a year and a half for pre-school. It was the most disappointing experience. There was no routine, schedule or structure in the classroom. There was a major lack of attention, and engagement from teachers and staff with the children. My son's learning journal which was given to me after he left is incomplete and has no signs of activities or lessen plans that were done with him during his time there. His key worker changed 4x and communication was rarely given when there was a change in his key worker. I ended up getting a job at this nursery hoping it would help but it did not. My working experience at this nursery was a positive one but my son's experience as a child in this nursery and as his parent was awful! I would not recommend this nursery for any child but especially not for a child over 2!

Friendly staff and atmosphere. My child had grown in her education by attending this nursery! Would definitely recommend.

My 3 year old went here for nearly 2 months, after moving to the area. she was in the 2-3 years room. My daughter became very distressed whilst going there (this was unusual for her, as she previously got on so well in a different Busy Bees in Kent). On afew occasions, i witnessed a young boy crying for 5 -10 minutes, and no staff comforted him. I also winessed a young girl proudly asking her worker to see the wee she did, to get the reply, " i dont want to see your wee!". I often felt the need to engage with the other children as i felt so sorry for them not getting attention - maybe the staff didnt bother because i was doing their job for them!? . From what i could see, my daughter recieved little attention particularly at drop-off times, and her basic care was sometimes even missed. In the first week, my daughter was put in nappies (she was toilet training and in pull-ups NOT nappies), she was not offered breakfast one morning, was confused as to how to get water when she was thirsty, and the toilet facilities were impractical for independant toilet training. some mornings i was even ignored for 20 minutes whilst trying to settle my daughter myself. her talking even regressed, presumably due to the lack of verbal communication she was getting there. she also was told that her comfort toy would be taken away from her if she didnt stop crying, which she still talks about 2 months later! I wrote a letter of complaint, and withdrew her from the nursery as soon as i could. I would like to add though, that my complaint was dealt with sincerely by the manager, and before we left, we could see some changes being implimented as a result. still, i would not want to keep her there. it's just such a shame, as most of the facilities and food were excellent, and some staff were very good, its just a bit of bad organisation and afew poor staff members that let it down dramatically. i have now moved her to a smaller, more attentive preschool, and she is thriving! Oh, and just to add to the annoyance, i was told i would be refunded some money as i overpaid before we left, even though we gave a month's notice, and they STILL havn't refunded me a month later... can i regret starting her at this nursery any more..?! This is an over-priced nursery, where I paid for my child to become distressed and ignored. I reccommend you find somewhere else to go, for your child's sake.
