Positives: 1. Accommodation - really nice and tidy 2. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Negatives: 1. Very expensive for breakfast and dinner: £80 for 1x pizza and a pasta + Garlic bread. £40 for 2x full English and toast is ridiculous anywhere. Would advise you bring snacks and drinks for the room as Cafe is silly money for basic food. 2. No reason why golf cart cannot be handed out on arrival to explore the park, any reason its only given out at 2pm? 3. Safari cut short and only chance to see animals you are not able to see via walking or cart - no rescheduled tour offered. 4. No lighting around restaurants and could be dangerous for those less able.
We had a lovely stay at the tree houses at Port Lympne. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The treehouse was very comfortable and we had a lovely view with our own Rhino living just outside our accommodation. It was a very special experience.
Absolutely amazing, words can't describe just how good it was.Rooms: 5/5
Really was excellent accommodation. Clean, tidy, well equipped, beautiful views. However what really made the experience was the excellent staff looking after all our inquiries or needs
We stayed at Port Lympne Tree Houses for a long weekend with friends. We took the package that included access to the Zoo and Safari. The standout experience was the ability to wander around parts of the safari park after it had closed up till 10PM. An experience that we have never had before and well worth the price of the break. The accommodation is excellent and very well kept. Everything to a high standard. We took supplies with us and were able to be self catered. The golf caddy was great and a lot of fun. The Safari park is huge and hilly in areas, the caddy made this all a breeze. Our two secondary school age children enjoyed the entire experience, including roasting marshmallows on the open fire over looking the Rhino and Cheetah in the enclosure in front of our accommodation. The views over the salt flats of the south coast were great. In September there is a mist that hangs around in the morning and makes it an incredible sight to behold.
Comfortable accommodation with outstanding views over English countryside as well as glimpses of rhino, and potentially other animals. The champagne welcome, with toasted marshmallows is also a lovely treat. The included golf carts make seeing the whole zoo, from check-in till 1pm after check out, a breeze, and seeing the park after closing is especially special.
A really scenic place to visit with various activities to do, especially if staying here which enables an earlier start from the day visitors. The accomodation Tree House apartments are nicely decorated and clean with all the commodities you would hope for in a self catering apartment. Great place to visit.
Two large bedrooms, nice bathroom, open plan kitchen with cutlery and crockery etc providing full self catering facilities. Host of restaurants to chose from that are not awfully priced, large living room, television, air conditioning, Nespresso machine and a range of other niceties. Golf buggy included within the reservation price and ability to roam the park on both the day of arrival and the subsequent day, including at night when the park is closed for everyone else. I stayed in one of the glamping pods last year, and this is more money, but wow, the difference is incredible Albeit that I did enjoy the pod too, just not as much!.
PORT LYMPNE CT21 4LR If you love going on safari then Port Lympne is a must-visit with your family or with your friends. I booked a day ticket and the entry fee was £20 per head and also I included a truck safari which cost me like £6 per person and it was worth it. I got to see lots of animals from the close on safari also you can see few animals on the walking tour as well. Face covering is the most when you do a safari but for a walking tour, you don't have to wear a mask.
Nice little trip up the mountain so you don't have to walk up the cliff
