We had the guided tour, and the museum was something to fill in a couple of hours, because we’ve the flight to turn back at home. The atmosphere is fantastic, it seems to be at the final match! In the end it was part of the experience... Historic, quirky, amusing and entertaining, with an excellent touristic guide ms.Sarah
A must do visit. Our guide Andy was both witty and informative about Wimbledon courts and the history. The Museum was equally as good again displaying the history, trophies, and interactive displays. Also, there is lots of merchandise and souvenirs. You do not have to be a tennis fan to appreciate both the courts, comlex, and museum.
Wow this was an amazing experience! The Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum is a very interesting and informative museum with an audio guide available to guide you through. We booked the museum tickets only, but they still let you see centre court for about 15 mins or so as part of your admission. Staff are very friendly and the gift shop has a lot of interesting merchandise that you can buy. I would also recommend buying your tickets online well before you plan to arrive as it can get busy at times.
What an historic, epic tennis stadium. Me and my daughter were overwhelmed by its history. As a sports fan you have to visit Wimbledon once in a lifetime. The tour and the museum are defintely worth taking and watching. It must be even better during the tournament.
I really enjoyed the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum. I did this just before my campus tour. The history is very interesting and engaging. You can do the tour with an audio guide and there is even a virtual photo stand with top players. It willnTake about an hr or more to do it and you can shop.
