The Wallace Collection is a true treasure in the heart of London, offering an extraordinary blend of art, history, and elegance. Tucked away in a beautiful historic townhouse, this museum houses an exquisite collection of fine art, furniture, arms, and armor, all displayed in a setting that feels both intimate and grand.nnOne of the standout features of the Wallace Collection is its remarkable assortment of 18th-century French paintings and decorative arts, which are among the finest in the world.nnIt’s a must visit place. Definitely better than other hyped museums.
The Wallace Collection is magnificent! I truly recommend going to see how rich it is in furniture, arms, paintings. Most of it is French and all of it is in great condition! A hidden gem in the centre of London!
This Art Gallery is incredible, with a great many paintings and art on display. I particularly enjoyed the room with some dozen paintings of Venice scenes, many of which from the great painter Canaletto. The collection of armory and arms is also impressive. So much to see that one visit will never be enough. Since the entrance is free of charge, we will be back.
Beautiful collection and free admission. The collection is displayed beautifully and the property itself is stunning. Had some afternoon tea in the cafe - the ‘Cream Tea’ option which was tasty. There is a restaurant also.nPhotos are permitted but no filming.
