Story

Wickwoods Country Club, Hotel & Spa which offers Memberships, Wedding/Functions, Beauty Treatments and Accommodation is set amongst 22 acres of glorious landscaped gardens and woodland within the South Downs National Park. It lies just south of the village of Albourne in West Sussex and is an easy drive from Brighton as well as being close to Burgess Hill, Hayward’s Heath, Horsham and Worthing.

Members and their guests enjoy the use of a comprehensive range of facilities, including a spectacular indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room and spa-bath, all of which overlook the stunning mature woodland setting. There is a fully equipped gym supervised by pleasant personal trainers to help you shape up and keep fit and healthy. Wickwoods also has several covered and flood-lit tennis courts where our experienced and welcoming coaching team offer a comprehensive programme suiting all ages and abilities. In addition there are numerous exercise classes.

Our floodlit tennis courts, two of which are covered during the winter season, have been completely refurbished, making Wickwoods one of the best presented tennis facilities in Sussex.

When it comes to relaxing there is no better place than the tranquility of our glorious gardens and large terraces. In the colder months you can retreat to the comfort of our soft furnished members' bar, lounge or well appointed family areas. For that special treat why not book a relaxing massage or beauty treatment in our dedicated Beauty suite.

Wickwoods offers a lifestyle membership unlike that of any other health club.

Conferences, weddings and special events and celebrations are held at the club throughout the year and our large function room, which overlooks the landscaped grounds, can host up to 150 seated guests, although smaller parties can be catered for as required. Our function facility is complimented by 6 well-appointed bedroom suites providing an exclusive and boutique ambience.


It is a fantastic time to consider becoming a member or to book a function at Wickwoods, as the club was purchased back by a previous owner with the backing of several new investors in March 2010. Refurbishments to the tune of three quarters of a million pounds have since been completed.We now have a large ,spacious well equiped gym and excercise studio. Five treatment rooms complete YourSpa and we have beautiful new his and her changing facilities.
