Website is absolutely dreadful...I am moving from the Midlands to the area and am looking for a gym...Won't be choosing this one!!!

Very Dissatisfied, I would not recommend this GYM to anyone. The staff seem very nice and attentive until you sign the dotted line. Was promised a work out plan, nutritional advice and many other perks, including “always having someone around the gym to see if your posture is correct and you are benefiting from using the equipment the correct way”, however this is not the case. There is never anyone manning the desk so you have to wait ages to collect your membership card back from them (you have to hand it in to get a locker key) to leave the gym, let alone anyone being around the gym to help with correcting your posture. The whole experience has not been a good one. I was promised a fitness plan within the first week - it has now been over 4 weeks and nothing but a few machine names with no reps or sets on, and when I asked for it after the 4th time I was advised this would be finished soon but still nothing. The machines are outdated and the changing rooms are awful, I did consider letting this slide on my viewing of the gym as everyone seemed very nice and was promised all the above but with no prevail. They also highlight you get classes with your membership but out of all of their classes most of them are subsidised for members and not actually free (there is probably about 5 at most that you can do for free). I would most definitely not recommend this gym to anyone, especially at the membership rates that you have to pay, for the service you receive. I would like to point out though that the free personal training session was great, Nick seemed to knew what he was doing and I can honestly say, I did feel the burn the next day and would have booked more sessions with him should it not be at this particular gym. I wonder if the free PT session and the bad service mixed is a ploy to get you to book 1 on 1 training sessions at £24 a time for a half hour session, to actually get something out of your gym membership (at additional costs on top of your membership)!
