Love it here on a sunny day looking out over the Severn and surrounding countryside. Seating outside or in a window seat in the restaurant. Now a Butcombe pub that has come back up to speed. Good value food and service.

Clean bright pub Part of dining area allows dogs with water n blankets provided for use. 3 out of 4 meals were well cooked and presented the other a pasta dish was very dry the chicken hard and no mushrooms in the barely added sauce. We complained more sauce put on the pasta reheated and re served. The meal was deducted off the bill. Don't have this pasta dish

Recently taken over by Butcombe Brewery, the White Horse is simply a wonderful place to eat and drink. The new manager has turned the pub around and the quality of the service is excellent! Great offers on food and always warm and friendly atmosphere!

Under new ownership. Lovely landlady. Few things to get sorted still, but we wish her well, and she welcomes feedback. This is a lovely pub, already great beer (try the Butcombe Gold!).

Had Christmas menu last night, starters lovely...then the main. Turkey was nice, but the vegetables was rock hard, roast potatoes were black but cold in the middle, obviously old roasties. We asked for more veg it came out the same, and didn't get any sprouts, owner offered us a complimentary bottle of wine, however charged us the full price even tho we didn't actually eat the main as it wasn't very nice at all. Wish we never paid really as we paid for something we didnt actually end up eating. Nice staff just poor food really. Shame as it's a lovely pub.
