Genuinely one of the best pubs I think I've ever been to - matches everything that a great pub should be. Lovely selection of Cask Ales, Lagers and Ales on tap and 5 or 6 'real' ciders. Bar snacks are a reasonable price, dog friendly, and a fire.nnThe temptation of the real ciders meant that I wasn't able to taste the on-site microbrewery's selection of beers, but I can imagine that they would've been fantastic given how many other patrons were ordering them.

My idea of the perfect pub. Great beers and cider, and Tom Oliver's perry. Limited choice of excellent hot food. Ham, eggs and chips, and a ploughman's is always on offer and a daily special. I would much rather have this than a large choice of microwaved pub grub. Very friendly. Not for everyone but I love this pub.
Great pub - fantastic ham, egg and chips all produce grown/reared on site! and microbrewery pub serving several cask ales. Kid friendly in the lounge, with smaller meal potions available. Lots of events and things going on. Wish it was my local!
Beer brewed on the premises and a lovely garden.nWell worth a visit.
