This is our new go to place! Booking is always advisable as they're popular (for good reason) and often busy. The pub has a lovely atmosphere, the food is always excellent and cooked perfectly. Service is great, attentive and friendly. We tried the Sunday roast recently was great (although slightly let down by the potatoes but we've not tried a roast since to know if it's a one off) the rest of the toast was exceptional, I generally don't eat roasts out as I love to cook it at home so find the ones out don't compare. But this definitely did. Their home made paté is to die for, so incredibly tasty! We love this place and can't wait to try more of their menu.

Well worth a visit, home cooked food. lovely atmosphere. Old world charm in a modern setting. Pleasant staff. Am going again.

Booked for 14 Adults and 10 kids, we sat in own area at the back of the pub that was perfect for our group. Food was amazing and service was great from friendly staff. Modern refurbishment and a fantastic choice of gin and other spirits. Unfortunately couldn't try the beers as driving but a good selection. Looking forward to visiting again to try more of the menu. Only one slight improvement could be made with a bigger kids play area but not sure if families are market they are aiming for.

Although the menu was varied the portions could have been a little bigger considering the price. Attention to detail would gain extra stars. If you're looking for a character village pub with restaurant, try it out. Just be aware.

Food is fantastic, I can recommend the sausages, out of this world. Staff were excellent very attentive, great atmosphere, pleasant place to eat. I would recommend a visit but want to keep this gem a secret.
