It is not very often I admire somewhere this much. This place is simply amazing! The rooms are perfect, cozy and has a warm touch with all the decor and lightning. The food; I don't have the necessary words in my vocabulary to describe how awesome it was. Simply the best burger I've ever had in the UK in the last 5 years I've spent. The chicken is so awesome, even my wife had it without any complaints.I am still in shock And the prices are really reasonable too. The staff is awesome and helpful. I highly recommend this place!
Amazing food in a cozy atmosphere. Excellent service and cold drink! Pricing was great. Nice chill out area. Had a Caesar Salad with chicken. French fries were amazing. Place was clean and organized. Love it
An extremely lovely pub with friendly staff and excellent food. The fish and ships were one of the best I’ve ever had. We stayed there for one night and the rooms were tidy, spacious and quiet since the pub is off the road. The beds are very comfy. We came to the Cotswolds from Germany for a long weekend and it takes just 45min from Bristol airport. There are lovely walks from there, like the round walk to castle comb we did. I can definitely recommend it!
Lovely pub and location. Staff were very professional and polite. Sunday roast was very tasty and a really decent portion size. The pork was incredibly tender, and the Yorkshire pudding was spot on. Definitely recommend
We had the festive menu. The food was delicious. The waitress brought us crackers, which was a lovely touch. The puddings were very nice, too. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed. Thank you for a wonderful Christmas Eve.
We stayed a night and couldn't have been happier with our choice. Adam and his team were very welcoming and the room was perfect and full of old world charm. It is also in a beautiful, scenic spot, which added to its charm. The meals were also amazing. Highly recommend staying here if in the area.
Bar staff, and waitresses were friendly and efficient. The pub has plenty of room and a very spacious beer garden. The food, although maybe a bit pricey for some was also probably the best I've had in a pub would also beat most restaurants in a very long time. Would highly recommend.
As soon as we arrived we were given a very warm welcome by the manager. ALL the staff were extremely kind and courteous and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless and very comfortable. All the meals were excellent and cooked to a very high standard. As for the location it was simply lovely. I couldn't recommend this place more highly.
Popped into here as I have done over many years, still is a great location, warm and friendly pub, loads of seating inside, lovely outdoor terrace. Certainly worth a visit. I will try food soon and update review, although Sunday roasts did look great when I was there a couple of weeks back.. Yorkshire puddings dud look amazing
We all had roast beef which was pink in the middle and tasty. A good selection of vegetables perfectly cooked particularly the parsnips and spicy red cabbage. Perhaps the roast pots could have been crunchier. Good service on a busy day. We cooked eat any more so no desserts.
