We came in for a Friday late lunch and a pint. The service was professional and friendly, and welcoming. Thanks Mandy. Had a delicious pint of Stellar Artois, and a fantastic fish and chips with mushy peas and buttered bread. Probably the best fish and chips for miles around! Well done chef. Always a decent portion, nicely cooked , and with lovely double cooked chips. Well done to you all.
Really lovely and comfortable inside. The chef was wonderful and accommodating to my dietary requirements and made a special burger just for me! Food is very good value for money and the chips are the best around! Highly recommended.
The Old Lane has improved massively since Chloe and the team arrived. Every week the food is outstanding, service is brilliant and the guys work so hard. If you want affordable well cooked grub this is your place. Quiz night on a Thursday is also a blast. Well done Chloe, Mandy and the team. You do an ncredible job week in week out
An impromptu first time ever visit on Sunday evening after a busy afternoon out. Enjoyed the quieter side of the lounge. Very clean & comfortable with entertaining decor. Friendly and helpful staff. We decided to order some food, which despite being reasonably priced turned out to be very tasty and good sized portions. Our first visit looks like it won't be our last.
Really good pub been my local for a while. Sadly my sister HOLLY doesn’t work there anymore for 3 months but Ailish has always been great. Certainly deserves her position. Great pub, great service, great food. Such a wonderful family pub and will always be my local.
Went for Sunday lunch on a recommendation. Pleasant and friendly inside and good prices but regretted ordering the half-roast chicken, which was cardboard dry and tasted stale. Wish I'd had the beef which looked much better.
Lovely, friendly welcome from Lucy & Chloe. Good value food with an offer. Bar is dog friendly which is a great benefit. Recommended.
Eloise has provided the best service I have ever had witching a bar/pub, she is presented immaculately and she is immensely kind and sweet when she is serving, get this girl promoted she’s amazing
Food was lovely staff made you feel welcome prices were reasonable well worth the visit
we were a party of 12 were love going to the Old Lane always helpful and friendly. I organise and run pub lunch for the elderly and disabled they always like to go there because of the easy access and the friendliness of the staff and the quality of food never varies.
