Visited the white Bear in knutsford this afternoon for lunch, ordered the beer battered haddock and hand cut chips, it was cooked to perfection, the presentation was amazing and the staff were very friendly. Compliments to the chef and also thank you to Jamie who couldn't do enough for us! We will definitely be back to try more of the stunning menu!
Arrived just before a football game and it was the Epitome of charming. The bartender was so friendly, and we had a couple of drinks in a quiet corner surrounded by impressive art before our food was served. The food was exceptional in both quality, and price. We were so surprised as we’d just stumbled across this place.
Good food, well priced and staff really pleasant. Also well situated in the town. Would recommend to friends and would go again.
Good food, friendly staff and a quirky setting! The only negative was that the menu that we were provided upon arrival did not reflect the one we found on their website. It wasn't a million miles off, however!
Lovely meal as usual at the White Bear : excellent service from the lovely Maria and Chef . Lovely and warm with the fire on . Many pubs lack this warm atmosphere. Keep up the good work!!
We popped in for a pint earlier, nice atmosphere and lovely little pub watch out for those low ceilings though! I have to say Holly behind the bar was great and very attentive. 5* service, we’ll definitely be back!
Me and my friend visited here and the food was utterly incredible, a must visit for anyone. Will be coming back again
2nd time I have eaten here, With the new chief food cooked to perfection. Lamb and the steak.
