Had lunch here on a weekday whilst on a local course. Went in just after 12. The pub was quiet. There is plenty of seats and tables and had the weather been nicer, plenty outside too. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Had a coffee and a Southern style chicken burger. Prices are very reasonable, food portions are large and very tasty. Would happily eat here again.

Lovely welcoming barmaid. Dog friendly with nice seating at the back watching the planes pass over. Lasagne was ok. Marston's pub with good choice of ales. Would call again but probably for drinks only personally
Lovely pub with friendly staff and good wholesome food which is excellent value for money. Our visit with two members of our family along with our Boxer dog was very enjoyable and I will make sure when I am back in the area that I revisit. Thank you to Charlene, the landlady, good luck with your venture.
We had a party of around 20 people including children. Ordered off the Xmas menu and it was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed the food and atmosphere. It was tasty food and excellent service. Would definitely recommend. Great family pub and new management are lovely.
It's an excellent traditional pub with good facilities, excellent service and suitable for all age groups, and for that matter extremely well behaved dogs. Parking is easy, the beer is good and I've unfortunately only recently discovered it. I'm becoming a regular!
Not family friendly - one member of staff in particular, we had booked a table for food today our kids 2 and 4 played with others but we were told off by said member of staff for allowing our children to play - we had planned to eat but duly left to go elsewhere more welcoming. This same member of staff is possibly the et least welcoming I have ever come across. Beer is good nice pub but certain members of staff let it down.
Nice place. Charlie was lovely female staff member. 18 of us decened on the venue, with no notice. Male employee, was not happy to have extra custom. Apparently he's leaving. Maybe other employees will be happy, should myself and my group, want to frequent the establishment again.
Came in for a bite after walking locally. Friendly warm atmosphere. Food was reasonably price and very tasty indeed. Good selection of draft beers and gins.
Really lovely local pub with great food. Very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere.
